Henry Wilson Allen
Henry Wilson "Heck" Allen (September 12, 1912 – October 26, 1991) was an American author and screenwriter. He used several different pseudonyms for his works. His 50+ novels of the American West were published under the pen names Will Henry and Clay Fisher. Allen's screenplays and scripts for animated shorts were credited to Heck Allen and Henry Allen. Biography Henry Wilson Allen was born in Kansas City, Missouri. His older brother Robert Allen was an animator who worked for MGM. Before he began his writing career he worked variously as a stablehand, shop clerk, and gold miner. In 1937 he began working as a contract screenwriter for the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio. While his early work was for Harman and Ising's "Barney Bear" series, his longest collaboration was with director Tex Avery. Allen was credited as story artist on many classic Avery shorts, included '' Swing Shift Cinderella'', ''Northwest Hounded Police'', and ''King-Size Canary'', among many others. ...

Henry Kaleialoha Allen is a Hawaiian steel guitarist and singer. Biography Allen was born June 11, 1933 in Hilo, Hawaii In 1941 his family relocated to Honolulu. Allen graduated from President William McKinley High School in 1952. He began his professional career working in Hawaiian hotels, joining the musicians union in 1953 and working with Alfred Apaka. He then moved to Los Angeles in 1956 where he studied jazz. He moved back to Hawaii at the urging of Apaka, setting up a company entitled Polynesian Promotions in Lahaina on the island of Maui. In the 1970s he worked for the Kaanapali, Hawaii Hilton, producing music for dining and for evening dancing. Major General Henry Tureman Allen (April 13, 1859 – August 29, 1930) was a senior United States Army officer known for exploring the Copper River in Alaska in 1885 along with the Tanana and Koyukuk rivers by transversing of wilderness. His trek has been compared by Nelson A. Miles to that of Lewis and Clark. Henry was born in Sharpsburg, Kentucky. He graduated from West Point in 1882, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the cavalry. He served on the staff of General Nelson A. Miles. He later served as a military attaché to Russia (1890–1895) and Germany (1897–1898). Allen also served in the Spanish–American War in the Battle of El Caney. Henry James "Red" Allen, Jr. (January 7, 1908 – April 17, 1967) was an American jazz trumpeter and vocalist whose playing has been claimed by Joachim-Ernst Berendt and others as the first to fully incorporate the innovations of Louis Armstrong. Henry Alline (pronounced Allen) (June 14, 1748 – February 2, 1784) was a minister, evangelist, and writer who became known as "the Apostle of Nova Scotia." Born at Newport, Rhode Island. He became a New England Planter and served as an itinerant preacher throughout Maritime Canada and Northeastern New England from 1776 to 1784. His ministry coincided with the Second Great Awakening, and he became the leader of the New Light movement in the Maritimes. Later in life, he caught the attention of renowned theologian John Wesley.
